A long-standing supporter and deployer of the CIPURSE™ open standard, BillingPay has implemented large-scale, real-world systems — most notably Rio de Janeiro’s Jaé digital fare collection platform, which serves over seven million users and processes nearly four million trips daily.
As a pioneer of account-based fare collection in Latin America since 2016, BillingPay brings deep operational expertise and regional insight to OSPT’s global, member-driven collaboration. CIPURSE V2 Specification Package – Revision 2.1 Now Available for Members
OSPT Alliance has released Revision 2.1 of the CIPURSE V2 Specification Package, introducing enhanced clarity, structure, and optional new functionalities to support secure and flexible implementations. Key updates include integrated errata, updated references, renamed functionalities, requirement identifiers, and a revised internal Essential IPR statement. The new version is available to Full and Affiliate Members via the Causeway portal and aligns with the certification process to streamline deployment.
